The leader of Kurere Community in Abeokuta North Local Government of Ogun State, Nigeria, has a rich history of experiences and achievements. Born on September 30, 1928, he completed his primary education at Kurere African Primary School and Owu Baptist Day, Abeokuta, between 1940 and 1945. Subsequently, he pursued his secondary education at Baptist Boys High School Owu, Abeokuta, graduating in 1951.

In the same year, he took on the role of a Laboratory Assistant at Baptist Boys High School before relocating to Lagos in 1952 for Post and Telegram (P&T) training. Additionally, he attended Eleyele Nursing School in Ibadan during the same period.

Throughout his professional journey, he held various positions, including serving as a secretary and station master at the Nigerian Railway Corporation.

In 1957, he entered the bonds of matrimony with Mama Sarah Ayoka, and together they raised six children, one of whom has passed away. His enduring legacy is embodied in the Sarah Ayoka Oduwaiye Foundation, established in loving memory of his late wife.
