KURERE AND ALLIED COMMUNITY DEVELOPEMENT ASSOCIATION

Kurere village’s influence extends far beyond its boundaries, intricately weaving together with neighboring hamlets such as Ontoye, Olowo Papa, Sholosun, Latoyo, Lafunke, Idele, Oluwafere, Alako, Olowo, Asii, and Isaga, painting a vivid picture of interconnected lives.

The Kurere & Allied Community Development Association has been a stalwart presence over the years, dedicated to fostering unity and coexistence among its people and communities. Among its notable achievements are the consistent payment of salaries to health staff from 2017 to November 2023 and the acquisition of two plots of land for a proposed Community Town Hall and one acre for a proposed Community Health Centre.

This association, inclusive of both sons and daughters of Kurere and non-indigenous members, operates under the auspices of the Ogun State Ministry of Community Development Law. The success of their endeavors is attributed to divine grace and the support extended by individuals such as Dr. Owodunni Oduwaiye, SAOF, Prof Ogunyemi of Shepherd Farm Ministry, Hon. Erubami, Abeokuta North Local Govt, Isaga Orile Ward 15 Councillor, and many others.

With a foundation built on gratitude and divine assistance, the association looks forward to further accomplishments, aspiring to achieve more with the continued support of God and the community.
